[Edit]An album of half studio, half live material (the latter recorded at the Womad Festival), The Culling Is Coming expands on 23 Skidoo's early material but with more emphasis on free-form sound exploration instead of post-punk funk. The lack of a sturdy framework makes comprehension difficult, though the scattered percussion, tape music and screeching horns are intense throughout.
