Details
[Edit]Lay It Down gathers up the leftovers from Eightball's late-'90s stint with Tony Draper's Suave House label. Most of these tracks were several years old by the time they were released. They're still potent, however, albeit somewhat haphazardly produced, and showcase Eightball during his underground years, shortly before he became more well known. Though Lay It Down doesn't quite compare to Eightball's other solo albums, it's nonetheless a quality collection of vault recordings that completists should savor. [The "screwed" version of the album was released in 2003.]
