[Edit]From the appropriately juicy cover and risqué track titles, listeners may be forgiven for confusing A1 People with some sort of sexed-up house act best reserved for the occasional vacation in Ibiza. In fact, the two are quite fluent in weaving electro and acid house with old-school scratching, though with many ties to disco paragons like Giorgio Moroder and Cerrone. It's electro with passion, disco with more sense, and it works best on tracks like "Drive It" and "Love Arcade," which feature heavy scratching and tight programming together with loads of vintage effects like synth horns, vocoders, sirens, and squelchy basslines.
