[Edit]Like Slowdive playing with the Vibrators, Aerial Logic bites into a bit of sleaze instead of merely wafting around in the rafters, being the bar nuisance instead of the bookish nerd. "Full Tilt," for starters: imagine crunchy, queasy rhythms getting right into the thick of moth-eaten shoegazing. A band at full realization that Kevin Shields' best work was with Primal Scream. They may have press releases written with all the subtlety of a night of drama student free-form poetry ("hungry guitars lick at angels' heads"), and word has it that inner-band turmoil may lead to an even "dirtier, meaner" sound, but Aerial Logic offers proper hints of how to slip, trip, and vomit before the altar of resurrected dream pop for people who hate dream pop.
