[Edit]Valença is less well-known than many MPB stalwarts, but quite as good. Musically, in fact, he is more individual than many big wheels in this rather text-oriented genre. He has a liking for harder rock influences than most of his compatriots, but also at times turns to a very pretty classic Luso-Brazilian acoustic guitar sound.
