Details
[Edit]Alex De Grassi is a well-known Californian guitarist who recorded for Wyndam Hill, and G.E.Stinson is an experimental six stringer in the vein of abstract post-jazz guitarists, such as Henry Kaiser and Nels Cline. Stinson has an excellent solo album on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label, released in 2000. This duo album is a beautiful merging of electric and acoustic improvisation that will appeal to fans of great guitar improv that touches on the music of both John Fahey and Fred Frith. Both sustaining and inventive throughout.
