[Edit]Drumming music fans will be delighted with this release from percussionist Marilyn Rife. Accompanying her drums and percussion are Madalyn Blanchett on flute and the album's composer Alice Gomez on percussion and synthesizer, with subtle nature sounds depicting the four ever-changing seasons in the background. These Native American-influenced rhythms feature dramatic timpani combined with more traditional Native American percussion instruments, such as tom-toms, bongos, congas, marimba and Native American dance bells. The sounds of nature punctuate and help define the journey of the seasons.
