[Edit]At the end of the '80s, Amir Cantúsio, Jr. started to develop a more proper way of mixing electronic music and progressive rock. Although recorded in less than favorable studio conditions, Ruínas Circulares is the work where Cantúsio's career started to grow. As usual, this is a conceptual work, in this case based in a tale by Jorge Luis Borges called "The Circular Ruins" from the book Ficciones (1941). This work is also dedicated to him.
