[Edit]Amir Baghiri is a very talented and diverse e-musician. Time is a concept CD that he dedicates to Stephen W. Hawking, the theoretical scientist. Thus listeners know that it will be deep sci-fi-oriented space music. It IS all that and more. Baghiri adds ethnic influences and tribal rhythms to his atmospheres to give them a grounded feel. Those extras keep the disc from going over the edge. And Baghiri walks that edge very astutely. Deep listeners will need plenty of direction and input. The journey ebbs and flows from sci-fi to tribal to sci-fi to tribal to sci-fi. It is like an endless Frippertronics loop. This album is essential for all e-music fans. The diversity of the influences covers all bases. For serious collectors it is a must. Baghiri completists already have it.
