Details
[Edit]This British budget compilation is subtitled "20 harmonizing hits." Drawn without acknowledgment from the Andrews Sisters' recordings for Decca Records originally released on singles between 1937 and 1943, the tracks include 14 of the sisters' chart entries from the period, among them the chart-topper "Bei Mir Bist Du Schöen" and such major hits as "Beat Me Daddy, Eight to the Bar," "Hold Tight (Want Some Seafood Mama)," "The Beer Barrel Polka (Roll out the Barrel)," "Say Si Si (Para Vigo Me Voy)," "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time," and "Well, All Right." However, the Andrews Sisters' biggest hits are available on so many compilations that collectors may find this album more interesting for some of its lesser-known selections, such as "I Love You Much Too Much" and "Long Time, No See."
