[Edit]This trio session with bassist Steve LaSpina and bassist Anton Fig takes a fresh look at nine very familiar standards, though "You're My Everything" probably doesn't get recorded much anymore. LaVerne is simply superb throughout, with a rather abstract samba arrangement of "Autumn Leaves" and a very lyrical, understated take of "Just One of Those Things." Recommended.
