Anne Heaton's fourth album—produced by Gary Maurer (Hem), Mike Denneen (Aimee Mann), and Heaton herself—expands the Chicago singer/songwriter's catalog with an inventive cover of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" and two songs based on poems by 13th-century spiritualist Rumi. "Prayer of Saint Francis" settles at the piano for a solemn reverie filled with the light of harmonious voices. Heaton's own writing is fresh and inspired, with an extra sprint in its mischievous step. The title track swirls with a full Technicolor-style production that lets voices weave in and out of the mix while instruments build toward the euphoric chorus. "I Still Love You" shades toward country, with Heaton's diction taking on a vague Southern twang. "Watching You Win" bounces with a touch of Ben Folds. "Two Human-Sized Wedding Candles" throws a music-box keyboard line into its literate tale.
