[Edit]An abbreviated version of an earlier Annwn album created for sale through MP3.com, Come Away provides a nice selection of highlights from this Bay Area band. Annwn mixes traditional Celtic and English folk music with contemporary elements and original songwriting, but always manages to carry it off with grace and class. For example, the fact that the band's version of "The Blacksmith" begins with slap bass does not result in any sense of contrivance — this turns out to be one of the better versions of the song on record.
