[Edit]This 15-track entry in Sony Legacy's Playlist series is a best-of with a twist. There are 14 well-known tracks by Art Garfunkel recorded between Angel Clare, his 1973 solo debut for the label, and Up 'Til Now, issued in 1993 — including a cross-licensed cut called "Perfect Moment," from Everything Waits to Be Noticed, which was released by Blue Note in 1988. There is also the inclusion of "Grateful" from his book of the same name. Albums such as Fate for Breakfast, Breakaway, Lefty, Watermark, and Scissors Cut are also represented. In addition, there is also a CD-R selection tacked on at the end with photos, bio, vid clips, etc. This set is only for the fan, however. There have been other compilations that go much deeper for hardcore fans. Garfunkel was never a big singles artist, but these carefully selected album cuts suggest his contribution as a solo artist is largely still under-recognized.
