[Edit]Pianist Art Hodes led a consistently enjoyable series of Dixielandish recordings during 1944-45, all of which have since been issued in a Mosaic five-LP boxed set. This LP, which was compiled in 1969, has a strong sampling of the hotter tracks with such fine players as trumpeter Max Kaminsky, trombonists Vic Dickenson and Sandy Williams and clarinetists Omer Simeon, Rod Cless and Edmond Hall getting their spots.
