A companion of sorts to the previous Bee Gees boxes The Studio Albums 1967-1968 and The Warner Bros. Years 1987-1991 (and, in a roundabout way, the international release The Festival Album Collection: 1965-1967), 2015's 1974-1979 boxes up the Bee Gees' most popular albums (plus 1974's Mr. Natural, a flop that nevertheless pointed the way toward the group's late-'70s style): 1975's Main Course, 1976's Children of the World, and 1979's Spirits Having Flown, plus the music the group made for 1977's Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Those hits — "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep Is Your Love," "Night Fever," "More Than a Woman," "Emotion" — are contained on the 11-track bonus disc called The Miami Years, along with a couple of outtakes, B-sides ("Rest Your Love on Me," "It Doesn't Matter Much to Me") and a 12" promo mix of "Stayin' Alive." This isn't the extent of the late-'70s rarities the band has to offer and the albums aren't remastered, so this isn't as enticing to hardcore fans as it could've been, but it's nevertheless a nice, easy way to get the biggest Bee Gees albums at once.
