Details
[Edit]One for All Concert 1989 is the first time the entire audio from The Bee Gees’ final performance in Melbourne on the group’s One for All world tour is being made available. Previously, various collections featured highlights, and a concert video was issued in 1991. Yet for the issue of The Warner Bros. Years 1987-1991 (where the show is also available as the bonus concert), Barry Gibb and John Merchant newly mixed the recordings of all 22 songs for the clearest reproduction. The concert features songs from throughout The Bee Gees' extensive career, all performed true to the spirit of the songs but with touches appropriate to the era. Then-current hits such as “Ordinary Lives” and “You Win Again” flow along with vintage classics like “New York Mining Disaster 1941,” “I Started a Joke,” “Massachusetts,” and “Words,” as well as the huge ‘70s disco hits “Stayin’ Alive” and “Jive Talkin’” and the gorgeous, timeless ballad “How Deep Is Your Love.”
