[Edit]Pleasant Music.. might seem, at first, like a decent artifact from the brief lounge-music obsession of the mid-nineties, but theres a bit more to it than that — rather than simply dwelling in the sound of cocktail jazz, Belloluna drops much of the irony in favor of penning smooth and surprisingly well-composed pre-rock pop concoctions, all of which might suffer a bit from the slick exotica of the time period, but come off sounding rather nice nonetheless.
