[Edit]Benni Hemm Hemm's fourth studio album, 2011's Skot, features lead singer/songwriter Benedikt Hermannsson backed by the Icelandic pop ensemble Retro Stefson. Once again showcasing Hermannsson's knack for rambling and melodic folk-pop, Skot is an organic and low-key affair that delivers more than a few joyous pop moments. All of the songs on Skot are sung in Icelandic and tracks such as the sparkling "Ef Ekki Cc," the intimate ballad "Matinée," and the rollicking "Ljósid Sem Ad Slokknar Aldrei" should appeal to fans of well-crafted, '60s-influenced pop.
