Two rap veterans from the Bay, Berner & Jacka have been around for years, putting out a gigantic amount of music mostly concerned with moving weight, staying lit, rocking the ladies, and getting paid. They continue that trend on this mixtape, and its 17 tracks also showcase like-minded local homies such as San Quinn, Ray Luv, Lucky Luciano, Joe Blow, Liqz, Rappin' 4-Tay, Messy Marv, Fed-Ex, Lil Goofy, and Willie Hen. Unlike many of their ratchet-minded contemporaries, they come with a more classic production approach, with plenty of soulful samples and unique drums backing their felonious flows. From the America's Most Wanted–sampling intro to the Blow-jacking outro, just about every joint on here is nice. Most notable are the bluesy "Iller Sh*t," the Rolling Stones redux "Frisco 2 Rosa," the super-mellow "Can't Hold It In," and the futuristic criminology anthem "Spray 'Em."
