For the second of four CDs that date from a 1962 concert, trumpeter De De Pierce and pianist Billie Pierce (both of whom sing reasonably well) really sound as if they are enjoying themselves. Whether it be "Peanut Vendor," "Dippermouth Blues," "Milenberg Joys," "Eh Las Bas" (which they sing in French) or "Panama," their particular brand of New Orleans jazz is difficult to dislike.
