Following the release of Nedi Myra, Bjørn Torske issued a handful of mostly dancefloor-oriented tracks for Svek and Tellé, then remained with Tellé for Trøbbel. Much different from Nedi Myra, this 2001 album is a collection of quirky, often charming pieces that can be loosely categorized as melodic easy listening electronica, with inspirations including early electronic music, instrumental pop, dub, synth pop, video game soundtracks, and, in the case of "Bobla," possibly Steely Dan's "Do It Again." Only "Don't Push Me" is in line with his disco-plundering material. Overall, this is a pleasant listen, albeit one that is scattershot and not as absorbing as Torske's other full-lengths. As with Nedi Myra, Smalltown Supersound reissued this in 2015.
