Two complete radio broadcasts from when the Bobcat Orchestra had Matty Matlock, Ray Bauduc, Nappy Lamare, and Yank Lawson all in the lineup. The first show comes from the Congress Hotel in Chicago and catches the Bobcats in rare form on "Dogtown Blues," "Gin Mill Blues," and "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea." Next up are two songs from a 1938 film short, followed by a second broadcast, this one taken from Chicago's Blackhawk Restaurant, in which the band rips through hot versions of "In the Mood" and "Wolverine Blues." As with other entries in this series, the transfers are decent and the liner notes are informative.
