[Edit]Assembled by H-Town stalwart Slim Thug, Boss Hogg Outlawz also include Dre Day, Lil Ray, Mug, J Dawg, Black, and Le$. This is the third installment in their ongoing Serve & Collect series, and it’s pretty much on the same page as the first two, overloaded with synthed-out beats tailor-made for rocking in a candy-painted coupe. Texas pride and constant stunting is the order of the day here; just another day in the life of BHO. As usual, Slim Thug is the show’s star; his distinct voice is the most impressive, and his lyrics tend to be the most compelling. Some tracks here are basically interchangeable, but there are a few definite standouts, namely "Bang,” “If I Don't," "Hogglife," and the posse cut "Roofless" (with Hoodstar Chantz, Lil Ray, Sir Daily, and King Rashee), plus the mellow closer, “Get It.”
