[Edit]Vertigo is the debut release from the Australian synth-pop quartet Boxcar. Although the New Order inspired arrangements are derivative, Vertigo is redeemed by Boxcar's upbeat, catchy melodies. "Gas Stop" and "Insect" are highlights, and the delightfully bitter lyrics of "Hit & Run" are superb. Vertigo was produced by Robert Racic (Severed Heads).
