Details
[Edit]Caribbean Dream is a set of cool vibes that will "take your imagination on vacation." Brannan Lane has constructed a soundscape suitable for stress relief in the West Indies. His father, Stan Lane, co-wrote two of the tracks and is a guest performer on the sax and the flute. In Brannan Lane's words, this is "like a soundtrack...without the movie." The music paints vivid pictures; the imagery is clear and relaxing. The rhythms of the soundscape tie into the body clocks of the listeners and act as agents of calmness. These tropical atmospheres are reminiscent of the '50s exotica of Martin Denny, Les Baxter, and Arthur Lyman. It is a fun disc.
