The BBC Radiophonic Workshop offers up another classic Doctor Who score with Doctor Who: The Krotons, a serial from the long-running series sixth season featuring the second Doctor, played by Patrick Troughton. Created by Brian Hodgson, who most famously created the signature sound of the TARDIS and the screeching voice of the infamous Daleks, the album is made up of the kind of eerie and otherworldly sounds that became a trademark of the series (and Hodgson himself). While this set isn't exactly musical, Whovians and experimental electronic music enthusiasts alike will enjoy being able to get up close and personal with the show's pioneering sound design.
