[Edit]Molsky is a fine musician, and this collection of traditional tunes is a testament to his talents on both guitar and fiddle. While his vocal delivery is sometimes less than inspired (as on the pallid "Fishin' Blues," especially considering earlier treatments by the likes of Mississippi John Hurt and Taj Mahal), his playing is never less than excellent, working a keen melancholy mood into tunes like "Peg and Awl."
