[Edit]Cheaters and the Cheated takes aim at various perpetrators of injustice around the world (politicians, big business, the media, organized religion), as well as smaller-scale offenders (conformists, materialistic consumers) with sincere outrage. Luckily, the music matches the intensity of the lyrics; Keith Burkhardt's shouted, Rollins-esque vocals are complemented by the band's restless speed metal/hardcore style, which rages like a locomotive. While not exactly rewriting the hardcore book here, Cause for Alarm's skillful execution and overall intelligence certainly make the band above average.
