This companion disc to Cantos De Navidad by Cedarmont (a company specializing in Spanish language Bible-based musical audiovisual materials for children) is the far superior one for two reasons: each song is recognizable, despite the fact that "Joy to the World" somehow translates to "Al Mundo Paz" (a peaceful world), and all the songs are choir-based rather than featuring very poor soloists. The arrangements and production by Sue and Mike Gay are simple but effective piano-, chime-, and horn-based number. After the initial 15 tracks, the song sequence repeats with vocal and instrumental tracks on different channels so that children can sing along without the recorded vocals. This possibility makes this disc worth the listen even for English speaking audiences.
