[Edit]One of two double-LPs ever issued by Immediate (the other was the Small Faces compilation The Autumn Stone), The Best of Chris Farlowe's 24 songs encompassed much of what Immediate had already released and assembled on single-platter albums (or soon would). Ranging across his hit singles, EP tracks, and LPs, it was a more-than-decent profile but also a bit confusing amid the other Farlowe albums out there that contained many of the same tracks. Farlowe's Rolling Stones covers are here, along with many of his American soul sides (but not his version of "Reach Out I'll Be There"), and a few lesser cuts as well. Mostly superseded on CD by Out of Time: The Immediate Anthology.
