[Edit]This recording features performances by Ella Fitgerald with Count Basie's Orchestra and the duo of guitarist Joe Pass and bassist Niels Pedersen, all recorded at the same concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Norman Granz had already released two albums from the same night but wanted to make this music available too. It was a good decision because, despite the album's generic name, Fitzgerald is in good form on her four selections (climaxed by a scat-filled "Flying Home") and the Pass-Pedersen duo is typically miraculous during their renditions of four standards.
