Details
[Edit]Country Teasers label their sound as "pastoral — not rustic, " but the distinction doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference on this record — its tracks sport a country drawl and an incredibly loose roughness, but the band unwisely elects to ignore any emotional effect in favor of a painful irony (song titles like "Bitches' F**k-Off" and "Drove a Truck" should sum up nicely). When the band goes completely over-the-top with their rural constructions, it's almost amusing — but for the most part, the album tends to be rather irritating.
