Details
[Edit]Although most of the songs on this release were two-steps and/or waltzes, Menard also sang such country-flavored numbers as "The Little Black Eyes," "I Went To The Dance Last Night" and "The Heart Of The City." His voice rang with clarity, conviction and intensity, whether doing heartache tunes, bittersweet narratives or exuberant dance numbers. Menard's vocals got an additional boost on several tunes by the hot accordion of Eddie LeJeune, giving the songs a backing just slightly superior to what they received without him.
