Details
[Edit]Danny Elfman's score to the Hugh Grant/Gene Hackman medical thriller Extreme Measures isn't as flamboyant or distinctive as some of his past scores (Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice). In fact, it's barely noticeable in the film itself, much like his work for Midnight Run. Consequently, the music isn't very compelling when isolated from the film, though it is still of interest to dedicated Elfman fans, who might find the score interesting in the sense that it finds the composer capturing a new-found subtlety.
