[Edit]The 2013 compilation The Best of Dark Chocolate collects many of the progressive jazz collective's studio recordings. Begun as side project for percussionist Barklie "Clay" Henry, Dark Chocolate brought together musicians from a varied cross-section of styles from jazz to funk, reggae, Latin, French music, and beyond. This is a rewarding, highly creative set of songs that works as a nice overview of this unique band's work.
