[Edit]Darrell Evans is one of the big daddies of the contemporary worship song movement. In a way, even more so than Matt Redman, he is the Bruce Springsteen of the genre. The material in this collection is on both sides of the rock & roll worship fence. Some of it is tender and meditative; some is high-strung and rollicking. All of it is inspired and heady. The sheer musicality in these tracks is attractive and, if worship music is your scene, downright addictive. Beautifully put together and sequenced, this set provides a solid introduction to Evans' work.
