Having colonized the club scene with singles like "Love Don't Let Me Go" and "Just for One Day" (a remix of David Bowie's "Heroes"), David Guetta continued his roll in 2004 with his sophomore album, Guetta Blaster. While it's anchored by Guetta's neon production style and plenty of monster hooks, Blaster explores new sonic turf, from the distorted guitars of "Money" and "Get Up" to the decidedly '80s synths of "Time" to the industrial stomp of "Open Your Eyes," featuring guest vocals from Stereo MCs. Peak-hour bangers don't get much more fun than "Last Train," with Jamaican vocalist Miss Thing begging, "Can I pleeassse get on the last train."
