With their first full-length T.V. Baby, the energy is tone down to the level of a dirge, but with more of a haunting, trance-like effect. With the opening of the first track "Wires," the tribal beats are set at a rhythmic pace just so it can prepare you for their emotional roller coaster that perminately remains in that bleak mind set of theres. Yes, Dead and Gone have a lot of angst going for them with this album, but what's more important is not to come across as all scary and mysterous, but rather to call out how somber our surroundings can be at times.
