Mountain Meadow Meditation is one of the finest recordings from the Soundings of the Planet catalog. It is a collaboration between Dean Evenson and Scott Huckabay with Deobrat Mishra on sitar (in her recording debut). This CD, recorded with "earth resonance frequency," has strong psychoactive properties. Evenson and Huckabay use the natural resonance of their instruments to create overtone effects. The sound design tunes into the correlation between the earth and the human psyche. The melodies and atmospheres intertwine to create massive soundscapes. As stated, this is one of the finest recordings in the Soundings catalog. Thus, it is Huckabay's finest and one of Evenson's finest as well.
