Details
[Edit]On the delightful Celtic Album harpist Deborah Henson-Conant, who usually plays jazz or crossover music, explores a variety of traditional Celtic melodies (along with a few of her originals) while playing an electric Celtic harp. Some of the themes are quite familiar (even if the titles may not be), and on a few selections, Henson-Conant augments her harp with keyboards and (in two cases) flutist Peter Barnes. Overall this is very respectful outing, with Henson-Conant not abandoning her own musical personality while paying homage to a variety of timeless melodies.
