[Edit]The fifth album by the first band ever signed to Relapse Records, Supernatural Addiction finds Deceased continuing the growth that began on the more varied, textured Fearless Undead Machines. Interspersed between the manic riffing and blastbeats are cold, eerie passages straight out of a horror-film soundtrack, which fits the lyrics perfectly. Sonically, Deceased temper their death-metal fury with a love for old-school thrash, which actually works well for them, keeping the music from getting too cartoonish. Overall, it's one of the band's better efforts.
