Following an independently released five-song EP, the Deepspace 5 collective returns with their debut full-length for Uprok Records, The Night We Called It a Day. The 15-song album features a host of underground rap artists — Soul Heir the manCHILD, DJ Dust, Sintax the Terrific, the Recon, Sev Statik, Fred Bruno, Playdough, Listener, Illtripp 1, the Beat Rabbi, and more — who all drop literate and often humorous rhymes on this anti-commercial affair. The album's standout track is the seven-minute-plus title track.
