[Edit]The synthesized arrangements make this a less than stellar Delroy Wilson release, but the parallels with Marvin Gaye suggested by the album's title and the two Gaye covers it contains ("What's Going On," "Ain't That Peculiar") is definitely interesting, since in may ways Wilson was Jamaica's Marvin Gaye, right down to his early and tragic demise. A masterful singer, Wilson is always smooth and easy to like, even when he is straddled with less than visionary backing tracks, and this album is worth checking out if you find it at a budget price, but don't break the bank to get it.
