Till the End of Time is a two-disc 49-track overview of vocalist Dick Haymes' pop hits encompassing his tenure with Decca between 1940-1950, the height of his popularity. Along with Haymes' backup vocal group, the Song Spinners, he is accompanied by the big bands of Victor Young, Benny Goodman, and Gordon Jenkins, and Haymes' early recordings with Harry James are also featured. The majority of his Top Ten hits and million-sellers are included: "Little White Lies," "Long Ago and Far Away," "That's for Me," "Till the End of Time," "Oh! What It Seemed to Be," "Mam'selle," "Put Your Arms Around Me, Honey," "It's Magic," "Room Full of Roses," "The Old Master Painter," and "Count Every Star." Also interwoven throughout the program are essential duets with Helen Forrest and a version of "For You, for Me, for Evermore" with Judy Garland. This two-disc mono collection serves as an excellent career overview.
