[Edit]Hearing a recording of Dick Schory's outfit live can only pale before the experience of seeing and hearing them play. But "Baby Elephant Walk" comes off well, although it really is no improvement over the Henry Mancini original. This album might have been much more compelling had it been made in 1959 or 1960. By 1964, when stereo and "space-age" instrumental pop had long since become old news, it seems a bit like a reunion tour.
