[Edit]An electronic artist who also explores the power of compact singer/songwriter music, Will Thomas has multiple challenges to complete when assembling a Dive Index album. The music must resonate and innovate but also work as a collaboration and feature accessible songs. For 2014’s Lost in the Pressure, Thomas collaborates with vocalists Isaiah Gage (formerly of La Strada) and Simone White (known for "The Beep Beep Song"). Gage further adds cello, alongside Alison Chesley (Bob Mould, Shellac) for deep orchestration that accompanies piano, guitars, found sounds, and live and electronic percussion. “Pattern Pieces” captures their wistful and whimsical way with a tune.
