[Edit]Listed as an EP, though it has a full dozen tracks, Beats by Design is an almost full hour of clean, robotic drum'n'bass, only slightly informed by the street-level tracks Zinc and Hype were doing five years before. It's also delivered in mixed form by Zinc himself, with remixes from Danny Breaks and DJ Hype. Garage fans seeking "138 Trek" may be a bit disappointed by this one; the version here is the original, not the loved-up 2-step version that became a club hit.
