[Edit]On the 14th volume in EMI's twenty-LP set, guitarist Django Reinhardt is heard fronting a variety of big bands including a wartime 1943 orchestra and a late-1945 group filled with American servicemen. Although best known for his work with quintets, Reinhardt's acoustic solos sound just as exciting in this format. As with most of the first fifteen volumes in this series, all of the music on this LP is now available in EMI's ten-CD box Djangologie.
