Besides rollicking versions of "Taboo" and "Mama Inez," you also get extensive liner notes by Nat Hentoff inside the gatefold. Lacking major jazz stars to discuss, he sticks to providing short histories of the compositions. It's good for kicks, similar to Rosengarden and Kraus' Like — Bongos! on Time.
